Marwan Haddad invested $150,000 of his own private capital in 2021 before any external investment — before any team, any game, any 3D model. He believed in the vision from day one and backed it with his own money first.
Since then, he has continued investing over $500K+ in total personal capital ($150K in 2021, $350K in 2025–2026) — working full-time unpaid since early 2025, sacrificing an additional $180K in salary for the project.
Since 2005 he has worked exclusively in online businesses — e-commerce, marketing, and digital ventures. In 2009 he built his first web agency from scratch and has since generated millions in revenue across multiple businesses as a serial entrepreneur with 20+ years in tech and 9 years in crypto.
The entire vision of Katana Inu is Marwan's creation — the 3D model concepts, the game design, the visuals, the abilities, the weapons, the gameplay logic, the animations, and the cinematic trailers. Every element was driven by his vision, communicated to developers through daily hands-on direction — not a passive founder, but the creative force behind every detail of the product.
Beyond the creative side, he personally managed all operations — funds, CEX & DEX listings, liquidity management, marketing, collabs, and HR. He led a team of 10+ operations staff covering every role from CMO to COO. Despite having a full team around him, alongside a full game development team with over 35 developers at peak, he remained hands-on in every area — because his standard for the project allowed nothing less.
A deeply creative person since childhood — starting with Photoshop in 2002 — Marwan is a lifelong Muay Thai fighter and Anime lover, a skilled video editor, and deeply fluent in AI cinematic video production. Katana Inu is the convergence of everything he is: the discipline of a fighter, the aesthetic of Japanese animation, and twenty years of digital craftsmanship — all combined into one vision — it's called: Katana Inu.
Marwan is ready to hand over key responsibilities to the right C-Level leaders — a CMO, COO, CSO, and a dedicated Game Producer to fully take over and drive the game's direction. He is not holding on to every seat — he is looking for the right people to grow alongside him and take this to the next level. These funds are needed to make that possible.
